Yeah, I looked outside and saw it started to accumulate and suddenly regretted not swapping out my snow tires this weekend. Potenza RE-11s don't work well in the snow.

No, they do not.

It's snowing up here by the Dells too. Project $300 is still down (main ECU has shit the bed), so I get to drive the TinyTohruTruck in this shit. yaaaaaaay /sarcasm

ECU has shit the bed
time to scratch off the vin and leave it burning on the side of the road?

Nah, it's a $300 car... with a brand-new $220 fuel pump in it. A used ECU is $50. Getting it reprogrammed, though? Probably $100-150.

how much money are you willing to put in it? Is sounds like it is already a losing proposition

My max is $1000-1100. If it will go beyond that, it goes back on Craigslist. It's a decent car otherwise, and will last 2 years - 3 years for my needs.

I'm looking forward to your next write-ups about it

It's had new mirrors and a used taillight installed. It runs just fine. It will only start when cold, though - it won't restart hot. When you try restarting hot, it does the same disco party with the lights that we had attributed to the aftermarket alarm system. Also, the OBD-II port is dead. Computer won't talk to scan tool + electrical gremlins everywhere = bad ECU.

What scan tool are you using?
be warned, those cheap ones from china that say the support all 0bd2 protocols lie and many are known to not work on gm car's from the late nineties/early oughts

My dad's $1500 Snap-On scan tool.
